We just got this email update from Michelle this morning!! Great News!!! God is good!!!!! Keep Believing!!!!! "Good Morning Everyone. I talked to Valerie last night just as she was getting back home from Tulsa. She had a CT scan and some blood work done yesterday. The scans showed GREAT improvement from her first scans!!!!!! Everything around her lymph nodes is GONE!!!! The mass in her lungs is still showing but that doesn't mean anything bad. This could simply be scar tissue from the collapsed lung some time ago. Or the mass could be dormant. She had to be off of the chemo and radiation for 4 full weeks before she could have a PET scan. This is the scan that covers your body and cancer would GLOW. She will go back for this scan on September 28 and 29. At this time she also have a MRI of her back. She has been having a little pain in her back for some time so they want to check it out. The doctors gave her a real good outlook on things. They truly believe that the mass showing in her lung is dormant or scar tissue since there has been no growth. So, lets say a PRAYER for the PET scan on the 28th and 29th not have anything in her body GLOWING. This would mean it is ALL GONE!!!!!!!!!! Believing, Michelle"
